Foss Mtn Guns N Roses DOB: 8/26/2009

Gunny is a very upright, conformationally perfect classic rose gray boy.  His dam is our own AAR Cinnamon Spice and his sire is a rose gray boy named Thunder's Best.  Thunder's Best is a rose gray son of Silver Thunder and passed on his gorgeous color to his son.  His rose gray fleece is beautiful - very soft, with crimp.  He is very uniform in color too, with only one brown spot on his side.  We will be showing him in the Fall.

Foss Mtn Magic Man DOB: 9/13/2009

SOLD

Magic is a medium brown son of ABRA Jaquara's Samuria (Sammy) and AAR Apricot.  Magic lost his mother when he was only five months old, and is still very small.  He is best pals with Stevie Ray, who is his half brother.  They are together all the time.  They will be sold as a pair, as we couldn't bear to part them.

Foss Mtn Stevie Ray DOB: 9/22/2009

SOLD

Stevie Ray is a medium brown boy with beautiful conformation and a very fuzzy face.  He is best friends with Magic and shares his sire, Sammy.  His dam is our Dreamboat Annie.  His fleece is soft and curly and though a tad younger than Magic, he is considerably taller.  He is a sweet youngster.  He and Magic will be sold as a pair.

Foss Mtn Axel Rose DOB: 5/30/2009

Axel is a light fawn boy from our own Foss Mtn Moon Dance and ABRA Jaquara's Samuria (Sammy).  This is the first Sammy baby born on our farm and we are pleased with Axel's beautiful crimp and total coverage.  His conformation is very good and he has a very upright and proud stance.  We will be showing him in the Fall.

Foss Mtn Troubadour DOB: 5/16/2009

Troubie is our first appaloosa alpaca!  He's white with brown spots which are small enough in some places to make him look beige.  He comes from our own Kilblaan Farm Madeline, who is brown, and AAR Orion, who is white.  Troubadour has bright, shiny fleece with lots of crimp.  He is a real cutie.  We love his fleece so much that we are keeping him as part of our fiber herd.

Silver Ledgend's Galaxy - Herdsire - DOB 6/13/2007

Galaxy is the son of the 8 time champion, Silver Legend of KPR.  He has gorgeous 20 micron fleece and a nice show record.  He is a moderate-sized classic medium silver gray, with hardly any spotting.  He comes from a long line of grays and has some stellar names in his pedigree.  He is the grandson of 5Peruvian Royal Inca Legend 9058 and Snowmass Peruvian Casanova.  His great-grandsire is Bueno.  He won blue ribbons at both halter and fleece shows and also has a number of red ribbons.  He will be breeding this Spring and has a moderate stud fee of $800.  Come check him out.

AAR Orion -  Herdsire DOB 10/16/2000

Orion is an absolutely beautiful alpaca whose sire is MA Kencoya and grandsire is Peruvian Kenamori Gold. He is a white, full Peruvian herdsire with many blue ribbons to his credit. He has a number of offspring and we are very pleased with the fine fiber they have. Two of his offspring held their fine fiber for many years, with The Boss having 19 micron fiber at 4 years old.  We have always seen improvement in fineness over the dam, as well as improvements in boning and coverage. Orion is definitely passing on his great qualities - fine fiber and wonderful conformation!   Orion won many blue ribbons - one being at MAPACA!  Orion is truly a beautiful alpaca with an outstanding head that he passes to his offspring.  His stud fee is $1000.

AA Peruvian El Cobre - Herdsire DOB: 5/5/2002

El Cobre - The Copper One - is a beautiful, full Peruvian, medium brown, proven herdsire with dense, lustrous fiber and near-perfect conformation. We proudly co-own him with Maple Hill Farm in Cornish Maine. 'Coby' has a calm temperament which makes him easy to handle. His head is beautiful, with large, almost feminine eyes! But he is all male and has had a number of off-spring, including some ribbon-winners, out and about in New England, ranging in color from white to medium brown. Due to the gorgeous fiber and wonderful conformation, El Cobre did very well in the show ring, with 1st place - Sun City Sizzle Alpaca Show, El Paso TX, Juvenile Class.  At that same show, he made Reserve Champion !  He was the youngest of 22 alpacas to boot!   He was also

1st place - Eastern States Exposition (Big E) 2004, 2 year old and older, shorn class.

2nd place - New England Coastal Classic 2004, 2 year old and older full fleece class, out of 8 alpacas with Mike Safley as judge.

Coby now lives here at Foss Mountain Farm and is available for breeding for a modest service fee of only $1000.

ABRA Jaquara's Samuria DOB 5/30/2005

Sammy is a light brown herdsire with a stellar pedigree. He is a Royal Fawn grandson and a Hemingway great-grandson, with fine fiber of 20 microns and staple length of 5 inches. He is dense and crimpy, with a compact frame and complete coverage. Because he has just started working, we are offering his service for an introductory fee of only $800. Sammy as a juvenile took a third place ribbon in a class of 14 light brown male juvies at the Great Western Alpaca Show. In both 2008 and 2009 New England Hands On Fleece Show, he took 1st Place and Color Championship under two different judges.  In 2009 he also got the Judge's Choice Award!

Foss Mtn Starman DOB 7/11/2007

Starman, named after the David Bowie song, is a big boy, born to our Apricot and Orion. Starman is shiny white, with dense, curly fleece and large bones. He was 23 lbs at birth! He's a beauty, with his mother's cute face and his father's straight stance. The fleece from his first shearing won a second place ribbon at the 2008 New England Hands On Alpaca Fleece Off fleece show this spring.  He lost only to his sister Cherry Bomb's juvenile fleece!

Foss Mtn Bad Bad Leroy Brown DOB 9/2/2006

Leroy is the spirited medium brown son of our dark fawn herdsire Peruvian El Cobre and our dark brown female, Cinnamon Spice. He has loads of gorgeous, silky, crimpy dense fiber, and good, straight conformation. He got his beautiful head and dense fiber from his sire and luster and good boning from both dam and sire.

Foss Mtn The Boss DOB: 08/27/04

The Boss-man is a fine example of Peruvian genetics.  He is the white son of our own AAR Orion, who won multiple blue ribbons during his show career.  The Boss's dam is Caraz, our full-Peruvian Import from Australia, .  The Boss has maintained a great histogram over the past few years and is still very fine at 20 microns.  The Boss is part of our fiber herd and I just love his yarn, as the luster and softness is very much in evidence.

PowerPlay's The Gambler 7/17/2004

Gambler is the white son of DPA Peruvian Powerplay who was deemed by one judge to be "the finest light fawn male in the country'.  His dam, AAR Apricot, is one of most dense foundation females and has passed her sweet, calm personality on to her son.  Gambler has good conformation, a long staple length and plenty of crimp.  As the grandson of Timoteo and Kenamori Gold, he would bring enviable genetics to your herd.

Kaballero's Phoenix DOB 9/6/2001

Phoenix is an Augusto grandson, with very dense and crimpy white fiber.  He has sheared 10 lbs of fiber in both of the last two years.  His conformation is very good and he has a sweet disposition.  He is also very much a 'lady's man', with a strong interest in breeding.  Phoenix has two crias on the ground and his most recent, a daughter Chantilly Lace, born this summer, is gorgeous.  She is out of our own half-Accoyo AAR Apricot and carries a very dense, crimpy light fawn coat.  Phoenix and Apricot did very well with this offspring.

Foss Mtn Jumpin Jack Flash DOB 6/17/2008

Jack is a beige son of Brown Eyed Girl and Powerplay's The Gambler.  He is sweet and manageable and has soft fiber with high frequency crimp and long staple length.  He was a great hit at the Fair this Fall, letting people pat him on the head!  Very good temperament has Jack.

Foss Mtn Rocket Man DOB 9/18/2008

Rocket is the beige son of our Apricot and Orion.  He's a full brother to Starman and is very close to his big brother.  Rocket has very nice fiber, with lots of crimp and softness.  He was halter-trained very quickly and is gentle to be around.
